Forty three acres of flooded timber, weed lines, rock walls, and perfectly placed structure are home to the bluegill fed Largemouth bass that inhabit this lake. With depths to 15', what was once a mosquito infested swamp created by natural springs has overtime grown into a trophy bass factory. Other species include Crappie, Perch, Bluegill, and Bullhead and may be kept for a meal during your stay. I offer evening guided trips at the rate of $35.00 per hour for those who might want to spend some time fishing this body of water during their stay. With an abundance of fish in the 3-6 pound range, this lake is the perfect place to spend some time hunting a trophy like the 10+ ,9.2 and 8.12 that were all caught and released recently. While the fishing is good all season long, early spring and fall is best for the big ones. June and July can have a top water bite to die for with August producing allot of fish on the worm. Come for the largemouth or add it to your visit, either way it's well worth the experience.
